Automotive Holdings Group each year contributes significant funds and in-kind support to numerous state-based charities and more than 150 local community organisations in Australia and New Zealand. AHG is also the major sponsor of the Melbourne Football Club in the AFL.
Charitable, sporting and community groups that benefit from AHG’s support include:
AHG proudly supports the Perth Symphony Orchestra in its fresh and dynamic approach to the Western Australian music scene. PSO first appeared publicly in Symphony by the Bay in Perth in November 2011. Its musicians include some of the most accomplished players in Western Australia, many of whom perform freelance with Australia's leading orchestras.
The annual AHG golf day raised $152,000 in 2012 and has raised nearly $1.2 million since 2004. Rocky Bay supports more than 1,000 children and 500 adults living with disabilities in Western Australia.
Just a stone's throw from the stunning Manly beach in NSW, Bear Cottage is a children's hospice that was established in 2001. One of only two such facilities in all of Australia, Bear Cottage helps families cope with the impossible - to care for a child who has a life-limiting illness; to care for a child who is unlikely to see their 18th birthday, or their ninth birthday, or sometimes even their first birthday. For the special kids that stay at Bear Cottage, there is no happy ending, no miracle cure, and yet it is a genuinely happy place. AHG NSW is the proud presenting partner of Bear Cottage's annual A Bear Affair gala fundraising dinner and also supports the annual Superhero Week. As the caring staff and volunteers say at Bear Cottage, "We can't add years to their lives, but we can add life to their years."
AMCAP continues to be a major corporate sponsoring partner of Constable Care and has the naming rights for the AMCAP Distribution Centre Constable Care Golf Day. The Golf Day raises important funds so Constable Care can continue to effectively communicate key life skills, citizenship and safety messages for children aged between two to 12.
AHG donated a Kia Carnival people mover as well as a Holden Barina to Ronald McDonald House in Perth. To help raise awareness about the charity the vehicles carried Ronald McDonald House’s new branding. Similarly, three semi-trailers from Rand Transport carried the new branding -- in Perth, Brisbane and one running between Melbourne and Sydney.
AHG NSW donated a Mazda 2 as the main raffle prize at the Sydney Hospital’s annual Emerald Ball.
